These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern the privately hosted instance of Postiz that operates at https://postiz.myavatar.website (the “Service”). The Service is provisioned solely for MyAvatar team members and invited collaborators. By accessing or using the Service you agree to these Terms and confirm that you are authorized to act on behalf of the organization that granted you access.
The Service delivers social media scheduling, publishing, analytics, and TikTok workflow features for the benefit of a single self-managed workspace. It is not a shared SaaS offering. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of these Terms and the Privacy Policy.
The Service lets you link social accounts to automate publishing. When using TikTok you explicitly authorize the following:
user.info.basic and user.info.profile so we can confirm the TikTok identity associated with your workspace seat.video.upload and video.publish so we can upload media you provide and schedule publication according to your instructions.Access tokens issued by TikTok (or any other connected platform) are stored only within the self-hosted Postiz infrastructure. They never leave the myavatar.website environment, are encrypted at rest, and are used solely to deliver core functionality such as authentication, content scheduling, and analytics retrieval. Tokens can be revoked at any time from the Service’s “Integrations > TikTok” settings page or directly inside your TikTok account settings.
We do not share TikTok data—or any other user data—with third parties. Platform data is transmitted only to the platform from which it originated to fulfill publishing or analytics requests.
You retain ownership of media, captions, schedules, analytics, and workspace configuration that you create. You grant us a limited license to host, process, and transmit that content solely so the Service can perform the actions you request (for example, queuing a TikTok video or retrieving engagement metrics).
We process personal data as described in the Privacy Policy. Data is stored locally, used only for the core functionality of the Service, and is never sold, rented, or repurposed for advertising.
We strive to keep the Service available but it is provided “as is.” Maintenance windows, upstream outages, or configuration changes may impact availability, and you are responsible for maintaining backups of critical content.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties (express or implied) and are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from or related to your use of the Service.
We may update these Terms to reflect changes in functionality, legal requirements, or platform policies. Updated Terms will be posted at this URL with a revised “Last updated” date, and continued use after publication signifies acceptance.
Questions about these Terms can be sent to legal@myavatar.website.
